Hyatt on the Bund Hotel

Great location centrally in Shanghai Super breakfast with a large selection Beautiful view in the evening from the Vue Bar of the Bund and Pudong

while the foyer and location are great, the reality is that the Hyatt on the buynd is a little threadbare and worn out. While my room was serviceable, the wallpaper was dirty and peeling and the bathroom looked tired. While they have a pool, they wont let you use it unless you have a bathing cap, which for a hotel is just silly. Additionally I had to go down to the concierge and ask for toilet paper which they'd not put in my room. Given what you're expected to pay a night, my honest advice is look elsewhere, the Hyatt is atrocious value for far too much money

Absolutely incredible stay, highly recommend this beautiful hotel. Fay at the check in was so lovely and friendly. Definitely be back for future business trips.
