Ibis Waigaoqiao

This hotel tarnishes the ibis brand. Originally had to choose this location due to company policy and proximity to company Shanghai office. There was no one at the front desk when I entered the hotel. The hotel front desk was hiding or playing games in the staff room until I slammed on the front desk as there was no bell. My hotel room smells of cigarettes despite an official no smoking policy and then find cards advertising prostitutes when I opened the door. Rooms are small and hotel Chinese WiFi blocks everything, including weixin wechat and baidu maps. Please explain to me how this is an ibis hotel or accor group quality location?

January 2016 was a very cold month. On the first night, I could not turn on the heater. A staff came to my room, banging the door and shouting. He couldn't speak English. He threw the dead battery on the floor and walked away while whining... Did I mention, January 2016 was a very cold month..? The water heater didn't working for two cold days... Lack variation of breakfast menu. The front desk was nice. Sheets/pillow was clean and comfortable. I don't think I want to stay at this hotel next time...

Staff is Rude, rooms are too Small, no Buffet breakfast option during booking no vegetarian option Good Wifi connectivity.ing Expo in Shanghai Surrounding near the Hotel is very good.. Near to SNEC for ppl visiting during Exhibition in Shanghai
