Jinjiang Inn Caobao Road Subway Station

This is a Non-smoking hotel but some hotel guests would open the window and smoke. Now is middle of Autumn season. We switched off the air conditioner and opened the window for fresh air. If your neighbour smokes, the smoking smell will fill up the room. The hotel was 500m from Exit 4 of Cao Bao Lu Metro Station. There is no elevator or lift at Exit 4, very inconvenient to travellers with luggage. The opposite of Exit 4 is Exit 2 and equipped with elevator, just 50m extra. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. The hotel provides free wifi but need a Chinese mobile number. The receptionists are happy to help if you let them know. Basic necessities like toothbrush, indoor slippers, hair dryer, kettle and two drinking water bottles are provided. There is a shopping mall near to Cao Bao Lu Metro Station. You can find plenty delicious foods at the mall.You can also board the metro to go to the Bund, Yu Garden, Shanghai Train Station, XuJiaHui shopping area.

Do not stay here if you cannot speak Chinese. You will encounter difficulty communicating with any of the staff. Room smells like cigarette smoke and both hallway and street noise are loud. Bathroom looks moldy.
