Panorama On the Bund

I stay for one night in this hotel , It has a very beautiful view to river, location is near to Nanjing street by few minutes walking but it is not very clean specially the restaurant. Most of the guests are the locals. You can not feel good smell. There was a man on the lobby who was very helpful and supportive.

It says on the website that the hotel have 4*. But it’s really not even 3. Dirty curtains, old furniture, scratches on walls, untidy reception in the lobby. We arrived to spend a day in Shanghai and booked this hotel. It looks good on the pics. But just one good thing there is a view. And that’s it. We didn’t even stay, we just asked to give us money back and left. The price is 100$ per night, but it’s not worth it! You can book 5* hotel in this area for 130$! I don’t recommend this place. Really not a good hotel and luckily I only had to stay for 2 nights. The staff is rude, unhelpful and only one of 3 at the reception spoke English. The entire hotel stinks of smoke. The room is very outdated and everything looks worn. Stains on carpets, curtains and blind. The curtains, which supposedly were white in the very far past, are yellow and filthy. The WiFi is a disgrace, absolutely unusable. The bathroom seems to be renovated recently, as it looked much better than the room itself. I didn’t have breakfast, so I can’t tell anything about it. The view from the 17th floor was spectacular and the location is very good, too. However, this alone does not compensate for all the other deficiencies. For sure, I’m not ever returning to this hotel.
