Only one night in comfortable soundproofed rooms, but upon waking up breakfast was not up to the standard in terms of quality, assortment and cleanliness! Even a star or two less for the refreshment area! 🌟 🌟 Not to mention that if you are on business and want to use the Bar services after one hour everything is now closed and there is no way to sip whiskey or rum! The minibar only water without any extras for a 5 star I was disappointed, having frequented 3 and 4 star hotels in previous days much better than the Sheraton!

I was very disappointed by the front desk staff as soon as we first got into that hotel. At that point I had already been in 5 stars hotels in Guangzhou, and Taiyuan and received amazing welcomes that I could clearly feel the difference when I arrived at the Sheraton in Shanghai, which by the way is the only non Chinese chain I had picked for this trip in China. Just for this unprofessional behavior of the front desk staff, I strongly do not recommend this hotel!

Due to an event of the city, a lot of policemen & bodyguards block the main antrance of the lobby. Without any explaination of the hotel, they are very rude & asked everyone 'what are you doing?'. We were juste back to our hotel. We are clients, not guilties.
