24k International Hotel(People's Square)

I stayed there for 4 days for a bussines trip. The location of this hotel is pretty good, if you are a tourist, it is easy for you to have easy accesses to everywhere, especially the bund, just 2-3,000km away. The public transportation system all within your easy reach. One thing I wanna mentione is that there is residential community just right behind the hotel, many restaurants opened there, you can easily find sth to fill your belly. The room is quite spacious and quite clean, it's a good choice for business trip I would like to say.

Disgusting Hotel. The room was very dirty especially the walls (see photos), it smells very bad in the room and there was cockroaches. The bed is uncomfortable, very hard. We were woken up at 9am by the maid who enter the room respect less to change the bins, while we were sleeping. No service, the hotel refuses to recommend a taxi. I strongly not recommend ! You have so many nice hotels in Shanghai at the same price or less expensive.

I've been in Shanghai in other times and always loved its people, generally very nice customer services. But in this hotel THE STAFF DOESN'T SPEAK ENGLISH AT ALL, and also worst of all they are NOT WILLING TO HELP YOU, other places people uses their phone to translate or something, but here you as customer just stand at the reception bar and they just do something else, the carpet halls doesn't smells good We arrived at 2am and next day they were making drilling noise in the next room to us at 7am!! we asked them to stop and the noise continued. We reserved a window room and it was just a smelly hallway between our "window" and a concrete wall. "great view" the shower area was flooded easily making the whole bathroom floor wet. the last day Our check out was at noon, so we were preparing to leave on time, at 11:45 a cleaning lady almost crumbles our door, screaming at us we had to leave LIKE IF WE WERE DOGS my Chinese is very basic so I asked the reception to ask a taxi using my phone, they said "we can't use the hotel phone for this" I was like "I'm giving you My phone, why are you talking about the hotel's phone? " they didn't help, we had to go to the street to get a taxi by ourselves to sum up, TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED FROM THIS HOTEL AND ITS STAFF, WE WILL NEVERRR GO BACK HERE AND WILL NOT GIVE GOOD REVIEWS TO ANYONE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!
