Argyle International Airport

Stayed here for 2 nights for an expo at NECC. The hotel is in a convenient location if you need to get to T1 and also close to the metro. There are no restaurants around in walking distance but the hotel has a restaurant. The room was a good size and clean but like everything in the hotel, it’s dated. But if you’re just after a clean comfortable room it’s fine. My colleague said hers smelled of smoke (and it was a non smoking room). Breakfast has a pretty large array of Chinese options but almost no western options (toast and jam is all) but it does have 2 coffee machines!! Like other reviews I had the same experience that the staff spoke almost no English which surprised me being so close to the airport. However as I write this I’m at Starbucks inside the airport and the staff don’t speak a word of English here either. Try to brush up on some basic mandarin if you come to China!

Hotel is located at T1 from Hongquiao Airport. Stuff not organized. 3 people serving one customer and others needs to wait. Room was horrible smelling like a train station toilet. Other room after claim wasn’t smelling but very old. Anyhow, it was good for one night but wouldn’t book it again.

This hotel is certainly not business friendly! The ability to assist in English is fairly difficult. As this was a room booked at the last minute and close to the hotel. It's not one that I would recommend. The hotel is one of the older ones with the tv even like 15 years old!!!
