B & B Inn Xuhui Hotel

If I read and stick to reviews very probably I would not stay. My one was short and quite nice 👍. I know the place but around so no problem 😉 to find what could be another case with total strangers or taxi drivers. With mobile phone and map you should not have any issue. It is refreshed ambience for reception, breakfast 🧇 area and rooms. Clean and new room, more service apartment with cooker, microwave or washing machine but fully fine. I prefer the place due to location and short distance to my morning destination. Many restaurants around to have dinner 🥘

This is an avarage hotel in Shanghai.. It is not as bad as people say here but defenitly not as good as all the Chinese comments say!! Rooms are ok. Breakfast is not good at all. Hotel got wifi and reception can helps you with that. Then maybe the most important thing of stay in a hotel in a huge city: location. Location is really bad. Lucky there is just a new subway line open, about 2 minutes walk. That makes everything at least easier. Bring a hotel card, because even with a card taxi cant find this place!

I stayed in this hotel for a good 13 nights because of work, and was expecting the worse from the reviews I read here. It turns out pretty decent, though not the best. I was on the highest floor, the room was big and relatively clean. There's weird smell coming from the toilet, but it was tolerable for me. Bed was hard and pillows were too flat for me. Clean change of towels and floor mat daily, but I felt there should be an option that allows guest to want to change towels or not (environmental concious here). Breakfast was the same everyday, not much option. Bread was left out cold and orange juice were served hot. My suggestion is to head out for breakfast if you have the time. Location of the hotel is average, blocked by another hotel by the side. Domino Pizza is just beside, about 5 minutes walk to the near-by breakfast shops, restaurants and mini-marts, nothing fanciful, just local style. The stadium is about 10-15 minutes away, lots of food choices and a huge supermarket there. There's also 2 shopping malls around the area, take your time to explore. Probably what irritated me was the prostitution call cards that were slipped into your room every night. Have low or no expectation and the stay might just turn out alright.
