Bund (Deluxe)

Holidaying with their family in a hotel in March 2025. Four stars, downtown. Rooms are cold 14 degrees, with a conder of 19. Breakfast is simple. On departure booked a transfer, which in fact is not available, called taxi economy at a markup of 300%. Not recommended!

The Bund Fish Inn I can say 100% It’s a Good choice 10Thumbs Up! From the receptionist Ms DECEMBER the nicest girl i met who’s very helpful and accomodating even allow us to check in early and let us choose our room but we stay at the firt room she gave us. comforatble bed, nice and clean room, Bathroom and sofa was OK. A safe and quiete area. A GOOD AND VERY ACCOMODATING RECEPTIONIST IS A +++ Factor. Plus the location is walking distance to mall and the Bund area. I really love to be back again in this hotel. Maybe this christmas. I would like to commend and kudos to Ms December. Thanks for all your help and hope to see you again. Congrats to the Best Services We’ve had. As a first time Shanghai visitors I'm pleased we stayed at this hotel. It is very conveniently located, four blocks away from Nanjing Road, and a short stroll to the Bund or to People's Square. Our room was nice, clean,and well equipped with windows that opened to a nice view. As other reviewers have pointed out, we also experienced some discomfort with the room being too hot, but we called the front desk and they sent someone to fix it within minutes. Breakfast had lots of Chinese & Western choices. We found the staff friendly and eager to help. There was always someone there that spoke English. The area is interesting and varied. There are lots of places to eat around like The Paris Baguette Café almost across the hotel. If you venture away from the glitzy shops of Nanjing Road, you will find yourself in the world apart of the small side streets: there is one full wonderful artists supplies shops which I found fascinating. I ate in the almost empty Flying Elephant Russian Restaurant in the hotel and the food was just ok. Nothing to rave about, but the staff was simply wonderful. Yes, I would stay there again.
