Don't expect too much in this hotel based on its price. For the price, I think this hotel is pretty regular. The hotel has staff that can understand basic English and I appreciate that. Location is great but I observed the following downside: 1. We stayed in 5th floor and the lighting of the room is not decent. There are only three lampshades that lit the bedroom. 2. There are mosquitoes inside the room.

This is probably the worst hotel I have ever been to. Hopefully it was just for a few hours since I had my flight back the same night. It’s VERY dirty and stinky, the beds are not so comfortable, some of the towels were dirty and the air conditioning didn’t work and it was 30 degrees C, the only good thing about this place is the location since is very close to the bund. Never go to this place!!!!

Stayed in early/mid September 2018. Room was comfortable - takes getting used to a hard Chinese-style bed, but sufficient overall and very close to the Bund and iconic Shanghai skyline. There was construction and banging in the building that could be heard on many afternoons. Overall good stay for the price and location.
