Motel 168 Si Ping Road Inn

I booked a Family room, with the request of a non smoking room, the room allocated was at 8th Floor when we went there it was smelly and unclean, I complained to the reception we were given a room in 7th floor, it was also smelly but we tired after 20hours flight we settled there. Pros: It close to Metro (about 400 metres) Bank is next to the hotel easy to change money Cons: Recetionist or any of the staff cannot speak a word of English further they are not helpfull at all Room is not clean it is with bad fowl smell Toilet is Ok but bathroom the water doesnot go out (Drainout) you have to stand on your dirty water. As the other traveler said visiting cards of Prostitute is put unbder your door, when you with your children it is highly embarassing, I did not find this dirty practise any part of the world. Bathroom has a glass window to the bedroom where you can be seen nude if you with children or guest you are in trouble Breakfast I didn't take because when we went there it was stinking with fowl food smell and smoking All in all please avoid this hotel for the same price you can find better places in the samr area. I have never experienced such bad hotel, so I had to comment so badly.

Last week during our trip to China we stayed at this hotel. The rooms are in run down condition. The cold water facuet in our room didn't even work. The room was filthy. But what concerned us most is that after repeated warnings the hotel personnel did nothing to prevent those promoting prostitution from coming repeatedly to our door and sliding risque cards under our door advertising their services. The hotel managers said they couldn't do anything about it. After several attempts to get them to do something and expressing our displeasure to the hotel management we checked out. Most of the hotels we have chosen to stay at in China work hard to prevent this from happening.
