Shanghai Cailin International Business Hotel

Very very strong smell of cigarettes that never left room. Prostitute business cards at every door daily. Hard wooden board on top of bed mattresses, no shower pressure (I mean none, dribbled out) and cold water only. When asked to repair or correct told that is as good as shower is, water temp does not go hotter then 18'C. House keeping lovely and friendly even though no English. Kids didn,t want to eat there so didn,t even try, food looked lovely and fresh.

I spent a few days here and found the staff to be very kind and helpful, the food OK, and the facility worn and tired. The staff knows very little English, if any. Seems like a food delivery service was being run from the room across the hallway from mine, the hallway being cluttered with many food containers each day with lots of people in and out from there.

I stayed at this hotel for 6 days for business trip and overall for this hotel is just average. One thing i remember that i saw a small cockcroach walk on the upside of my bed. The buffet breakfast in the hotel also just average (fried kwe tiauw, boiled egg, etc) And every night when i want to open my door room i have to renew my room card key at the reception.
