Friend Hotel Shanghai

Check in late. Room is clean and cozy. Didnt get to see the place well. But overall is a nice place to rest and spend the night in. As we are on a group tour, we need to change hotel every day. Overall I would still recommend this place to those who are keen to stay in.

The Hotel is in the outskirts of shanghai city. Our china trip by IRCTC international package tour. The hotel was very good to stay. we could get wifi and some whatsapp too. We stayed three nights and the morning breakfast was good with some cooked vegetables and peanuts. Good tea and filter coffee.

The room had mold in the corners and at the windowframes, various huge and visible stains on the carpet and the bedsheet. The room I had was a smokers room so the smell of smoke was still in every art of that room. The windows were leaky and it was very cold around there. Located very far away from the city centre but close to a metro station. The staffs englisch was poor/ non existent and also talking by app to the staff they were not able or willing to explain me the metro plan. Next the breakfast: the variety was very limited. the toaster standing there did not work and the 4 pieces of bread that were there were completely dried out. The room the breakfast was offered in reminded me of a zombie movie. Raddled curtains and tablecloths
