La Casa Hotel Shanghai

Front desk has no English. No greeting when you come in. The room walls are paper thin (I don't know how they got their rating...), and people come and go and make love and talk as loud as possible and slam doors, constantly, as are wont in hotels near an airport. The outside looks like the aftermath of a nuclear explosion.

Stayed in the hotel with my wife for the weekend for 300rmb/night. We booked a queen bed, but they gave us two tiny beds for the first night. They at least switched us to a bigger bed the next night. I have no complaints about the hotel, but I expected more out of it. If you just want a basic room, there are plenty of hotels with the same quality for 200rmb/night such as a Green Tree or Jingjiang hotel. So I won't be staying here again.
