Belvedere All Suites Service Apartments

We have been staying at the Belvedere each year for about 6 years. We like it as it is great having an apartment and as 3 ladies we can also have a bedroom each. The service hasnt been good in the past but this year under new management things have improved. The reception staff is greatly improved especially as they can now speak English. However when we left at 7 in the morning the staff were asleep on the sofa. The apartments are spacious but a little shabby. The location suits us as it is away from the Bund. If things continue to get better I would recommend it.

The apartment was a very spacious 2 bed room with a large dinning room, kitchen and washer/dryer combo. It was a great place for our time there. It could have used a working central heater as it does get cold in November. The management did give us an extra space heater.

Good location and access to hotels' swimming pool and gymm. The rest is bad. Beds and floors are dirty and old. full of stains. Towels and sheets washed but not white clean (remained stains), and with holes. In kitchen very little dishes and no mops. We had to buy cups, bowl, pan, spoons... Washing machine doesn't dry well. TV has bad picture. The worst thing is that it is very cold in the apartment in winter. We waited until 20th of September so they turn on the heating (and it was working only after 7 PM), and which was not working in every room. No heating in bathroom, so bathroom is always very cold. Staff cannot give you extra towel or bedclothes, or blankets (no blankets at all in the apartment). Also it smells bad in the apartment. It's not worth that money at all.
