Manhattan Jinling Business Hotel Shanghai

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It's right next to the subway and you can walk to several major attractions from the hotel. The staff are indifferent, the hotel is old and dated, there is a musty smell along the corridor and in the room. Although smoking is not allowed, ashtrays are provided in the room. The beds and bathroom looks clean but the carpets are horrible. I saw several slimy spots on the carpet which i decided against closer inspection. There is a sleazy feel to the hotel because cards for massage or female companionship are pushed under the door every day. I guess if your expectations are not too high and you just want a convenient place to sleep, then this hotel might suit.

It was around 50 meters away from train station, which is good. The room was clean, bathroom was small but still acceptable. I don't like the fact that the hotel ambiance is quite dark and gloomy, looks like old hotel. But the staff was nice, she let us put our luggage for 3 days although we have checked out

The hotel is strategically located between YuYuan Garden , the Bund & Nanjing road walking street. The metro station is just about 300-400 m away from the hotel. There's one 24hrs convenient store just next to the hotel. I will come back to this hotel if I have the opportunity to visit Shanghai in the future.
