G-Luxe Hongqiao

Airport transfer not provided either way even when flight arrived 6 pm and was to leave 3 pm. Hardly anyone speak English. Same breakfast menu all 4 days. Hardly any option for vegetarians in breakfast or the restaurants. But clean hotel. Taxi guys don’t easily find this hotel. Each time had to switch on gprs to guide. Good if want to catch early train from Hongqiao station. Direct subway from nearby point to Pudong airport. Keep about 2 hrs for that. Not value for money indeed. Look another next time

G Luxe hotel, its seems private villa turned into boutique hotel, Staff dont speak good english, inside the residential complex, access is difficult Breakfast was very bad Good spacious rooms but air con in month of march, so hot could not sleep hotel staff said keep the windows open for fresh air !!! it was bad experience Requested for extra water bottle, it never came, complain to manager was futile really dont stay here . hotel should close down

The hotel itself is gorgeous, great restaurant and breaskfast buffet. If you want to go anywhere, it has to be by taxi. The hotel is inside a residential area, no bars, restaurants or shopping around it.
