Our Chinese godson was getting married in Taiyuan in this hotel and we arrived to be installed in a suite on the 36th floor. Every attention was given to detail and our every need was catered for. Fresh fruit was available washed and prepared on a daily basis. Meals were by voucher, but the choice was excellent and European food was available if needed. We chose Asian food. Service was good and reasonably attentive. English was spoken. The wedding took place on the 41 floor and our only complaint is that the lift was not working from our floor and we had to walk up the outside stairs. If you don't like heights - be careful. Also windows in rooms are floor to ceiling.
Very interesting wedding. We were the only Europeans present (2 out of 500 guests). Always felt safe and well looked after. (5 years ago)
