CELEBRITY CITY HOTEL

The hotel is very well located. The room is spacious and the views excellent. Overall everything was great. It is true that the hotel is somewhat aged and out of fashion, but quality price, is fine. The staff is friendly. They took a long time to give us the room, it was like 4 in the afternoon and I wasn't there yet...

I missed my flight and the airline took several of the passengers to the Celebrity Hotel. I wasn't expecting much because airlines don't like to spend money. I was very surprised by everything. The inside was, architecturally speaking very elegant, with a 1920's flare. I was probably the only western they had, had in the hotel in several years due to Covid. But, everyone was eager to help and try out their english speaking skills which I found very heartwarming. I don't like to compare but, while in China I found the staff and manager on duty to be the most friendly, and helpful from all the others. I would definitely give the Celebrity City Hotel my business again and would encourage others to at least walk in and look around. Oh, I almost forget one of the most important things of my stay, and that was the food. Words can not describe the flavors and selections they offered. If you like spicy Asian culinary delights, you will love the food. I would go out of my way to stay again!

Nice location but not a hotel of you don’t speak the language. They try to use translation apps but it’s clear the Managment does not invest in training their staff. The lobby bar only service local beer, bottle only of wine, whiskey and non alcoholic drinks. The gym is run by a subcontracting firm and dose not open until 10 am, simply not acceptable for a hotel.. Rooms are basic but nice. Tv only has one english language station and a few French channels
