Chengdu Tianren Grand Hotel

I stayed for one night at the Tianren Grand Hotel in Chengdu, an ideal property for those who are on a business trip but also want to spend time discovering the city. The hotel is strategically located for easy access to the famous panda reserve, one of Chengdu’s main attractions. My 602 room was spacious, well cleaned and designed to offer both comfort and functionality: it had a relaxation area with armchairs and a desk perfect for working in peace. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, with a good selection of local Chinese-style dishes. As is often the case in China, the Western sweet offerings were limited, but overall the offer was satisfactory. A recommended option for those looking for a functional and well-connected business hotel, without sacrificing the opportunity to explore the natural treasures of the area.

A dozen days in this hotel, ideally located, Chengdu is HUGE: 136 times the size of Paris. A few dozen minutes by taxi, the easiest way to all the great monuments. Nice and comfortable rooms. Compulsory air conditioning. Remarkable breakfasts. Very nice hall. Quality restaurant. Staff with little care, attentive, very responsive. The manager and hostesses speak English. To do again without hesitation.

I'm spending 10 days here, it's a nice place to rest. Service is very professional and the restaurant made nice typical dishes. In fact the hotel is quite typical you can find barber shop, and other shop inside. It's difficult to speak english for the moment but they try all the time to find how to help you.
