This hotel was booked by a Chinese friend - excellent value! I was pleasantly surprised as its not a mainstream hotel/chain. It was clean and the room was well furnished. As a westerner, it could have been difficult as the staff did not speak English and the breakfast compromised only Chinese food. Not a problem but you should be aware. There were numerous Chinese staying there so they must also consider it to be good value.

The room is expensive for its quality though location is probably the plus point for this booking. The bathtub in the room i stayed has yellow stain and the furniture is really old. The room also doesn't have any brighter lights and gives instead of a soothing feeling, a rather creepy feeling.

Limited English spoken and generally inefficient and unfriendly service. We were told that the room key system wasn't working and so could only access our room via housekeeping. Even though on the 8th floor it was noisy both from the streaming traffic below and the neighbouring rooms.
