Tian Fu Sunshine

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our 10-night stay in China. The hotel organised a connecting room for us so we found it easier to corral our two kids (12 & 16) each day! But joking aside, it was a much-appreciated arrangement. The rooms were very comfortable and the power shower in the bathroom was much-needed and welcome after long days travelling around. Breakfast was buffet-style and quite varied. The fruit was particularly juicy! Location-wise it was ok. There were a number of restaurants of varying sizes within 5 minutes’ walk, and a big shopping area about 20 minutes’ walk away. The staff were very helpful. I needed ice for an ice pack and they filled an ice bucket to ensure I had plenty. We needed umbrellas and these were provided without issue. The only disappointment was that the outdoor pool was closed both days due to the rain (presumably slippery round the pool area). We would stay here again if ever we were in Chengdu

Dated hotel, good common areas but rooms in need of restiling, great breakfast

As part of an organised tour of China we stayed at this Hotel for two nights and it was excellent and we can highly recommend it.
