Resort Jiuzhai Paradise

Hotel is nice, but the washroom is really small compared to the rest of the hotel room. Also the counter top around the sink is so small you don’t have space to put your own toiletries.

Room is clean and comfortable for a physically consuming vacation (expect to walk/ hike a lot at Jiuzhaigou and HuangLong). We enjoyed the balcony for a short while in the morning. However, we’re giving this stay an average rating because we paid a premium price for mediocre service. The hotel staff needs to increase their manpower for breakfast, it’s like a war zone every morning (stayed 3 nights, so we can attest that it was not a one off incident). We arrived at the breakfast buffet at 6:30 sharp everyday when they opened and no table was left, left scrambling to grab food from the counters. When we finally found a table, utencils were not ready, and super long walk from the food area to table…. Walked multiple times because we didnt have enough hands for food and water and coffee at the same time. Hotel is very cold at night.

This is my second time staying at this hotel . As usual , and no doubt about it the service was tip top . Manager on duty Mr Li and the supervisor at the restaurant for breakfast made us felt so at home during our stay . Especially Mr Li , his promptness in service impressed me a lot . Like to say a big Thank You to him and will certainly be back to stay when I return to Jiuzhaigou in due course . Thank you so much
