Lakeview Marriott Executive Apartments

On the eve of my grandpas funeral, this hotel had construction outside my window through the night. The windows have absolutely no sound proofing. I left and went to the ritz at 1am. The hotel still charged me for the night. Oh and I’m a Titanium member at Marriott. Fthem.

I’m wondering why Marriott decided to push its Residence Inn brand in Europe and North America because I appreciate the MEA concept way more - I really felt like I was at home when I stayed at MEA Tianjin, and the genuine smiles from every staff member added to this home-like atmosphere. The breakfast was also stunningly good and I ended up eating too much every single day during my stay. The apartment itself was spacious and tastefully decorated with classic Chinese elements visible throughout, and meanwhile the kitchen area was modern, clean and functional - I preferred it over my own kitchen at home! Location was not as good but now that a new subway station is in service, The MEA Tianjin Lakeview will be my go-to in the future.

I can't tell you how wonderful the Lakeview, Tianjin - Marriott Executive Apartments were these past 4 days. Wonderful space, nice staff, all around professional experience. Just a quick walk or taxi to most restaurants and sights. Well done Marriott. I have stayed at Westin Tianjin several times over the last 3 years and got frustrated because of the hot, hot, hot rooms and lack of service from the staff and said so here. The apartments are connected to the Rennaisance and it was awesome to walk over, use the gym, have a drink in the bar. WOW ......... STAY HERE people.
