Best Western Tianjin Juchuan Hotel

Does not seem to be part of the Best Western chain any more. probably a good hotel if you speak Chinese but hardly any of the staff can communicate in English. Decor is a bit worse for wear, certainly needs a bit of renovation. Food in the restaurant is Chinese only but generally tasty with large portions, but it is awkward to order anything if the one English speaking staff is not available.The room and bathroom seems clean and adequate, wifi works fine mostly.

Overall ok. Manager was good enough to admit problem with Central Airconditioning and shifted me to another hotel of same group, though cheaper, next door. I wouldnt recommend the property if you like it nice and cold in the room. Other than this, everything else was good.

We didn't stay at the hotel, we stayed next door but our girls from the reception could't help us with some informations about a ferry that leaves from the city. The site was in chinese and korean and we needed help. So we searched it at the Best Western Hotel at 3.30 a.m., and the girl from the night shift on 14th of may was the most helpful person. She searched for us and she called some people from the site and at the end she took us to a taxi that took us to the terminal. To the right terminal because are many in the city and we did not now were to go because the site does not have an english version. I dont know how the hotel is but the staff is very friendly and helpful. Excelent service. Thank you very much.
