Ibis Tianjin Tian Wei

The front dest person when I checked in was so inefficient. Poor communicating skills and poor people skills. Customer service of this hotel is terrible. Another front desk staff was so rude when I requested for a keycard check/replacement coz keycard didn't worked. It's also dirty and smelly, especially the hallway and elevators. Bathrooms at the lobby was not working. They allow people to smoke inside the hotel; at the lobby. Disgusting. Do yourself a favor. Stay away from this hotel.

I used to stay in this hotel during my month long tianjin vistits. I can say that this is value for money. Also the location is good. Its just 5min walk from the tianjin eye and behind holiday inn. There are many food options nearby. They also have a small restaurant at lobby area where they serve breakfast and lunch. They clean your room and change sheets every single day. Rooms aren't decent size and very clean. Front desk can understand and speak english. If you dont want luxurious stay and want a clean comfortable stay in tianjin, this is the place.

The hotel follows Ibis standards regarding type of room, very simple, clean and at a very competitive price. Staff is nice but they do not speak fluent English, we communicated more with signs. Breakfast was extremely cheap but really poor, few choices, and no coffee.
