Grand Park Kunming Hotel

This year we re-trip Yunnan Kunming, Kunming is not only beautiful scenery, food is present. And most importantly, the main reason we chose to go back to Yunnan is that we stayed at the Kunming Royal Hotel twice in October and November last year, which left us very pleasant memories and very good impressions, in addition to the breakfast in the restaurant there are many special food choices, and most importantly, the front desk and lobby staff are very careful. Whether sooner or later better than our very good deep and beautiful impressions, and the 360 degree gym in the hotel, the equipment is perfect. This is why we highly recommend your hotel, and we are especially grateful to the front desk manager Rando Liu for the diligent arrangement of service, the careful and honest service of the drinking department of Julia, but also became the main reason we chose to stay at the Queen's Hotel again, so we feel as pleased to forget. I arrived in Kunming 8 hours later due to a flight delay. Since I had booked a shuttle at the hotel I was constantly in contact with the concierge. It all worked out great. That was a great service. I had already booked the airport pick-up well in advance as I didn't know if I would get DIDI up and running. At the first moment, the price the hotel called for it was very high. But I have to say there came a very well air-conditioned 6 seater (which I would not have needed) and the driver was standing with a sign at the exit. At DIDI I would have had to look and it would have been only minimally cheaper in the vehicle class. Having done about 40 rides the last 7 days I have to say that was also the best driver. Now to the hotel! I had booked a superior room for 2 nights. Check in was quick and friendly. You've been trying too hard. The room: Well, it was old! It was clean but everything had come of age. Since it was clean it didn't bother me. Climate as always not really functional. As in Beijing, it was too warm. But the climate is so old that there was no display and I could only estimate the temperature. The biggest criticism is the bed! It was like sleeping on a board. Every comfort was missing. Internet was free but overly complicated and I could only connect one device. Breakfast was very big. Everything was fresh and there was really something for every taste. Most of it was Chinese food but for all non-Chinese who don't want to get involved in breakfast there was more than enough choice. I would particularly like to highlight the patisserie department. There was fresh baguette which was really delicious. Small cakes and pretzels were also offered. There was special butter in between. Butter with caramelized onions e.g.! Very good. This time breakfast was not included in the room rates. The price truly amazingly cheap at 50 yuan. Since I had to leave the hotel at around 6 am on the day of departure I had dinner at the hotel restaurant! Also, as pictures of great food were shown everywhere in the hotel. I asked at reception what the options were. I was sent to the restaurant where there was also breakfast! Small card but something for everyone! The waiter was very young. Communication went well with hands and feet and he tried very hard. I got something I would never have ordered like this! I didn't want to discuss whether it was what I ordered. Taste was just OK. Everything fresh but somehow lacked taste. There were 3 different Wiskyes in the map but none were available. On the shelf there were various bottles of vodka but there I was told that is just decoration.

They list having air conditioning but do not rooms are so hot it’s not possible to sleep just sweaty all night the staff are as helpfully as they can be but it doesn’t outweigh the hot uncomfortable room they should not list something they do not have.
