Jinyueyuan Boutique Hotel Luxur Lijiang

The fact that there were only four reviews, the last of 2012, explains a lot. It is an old hotel that has been pimped out with huge TVs and toilets with heated seats and automatic flushing. But in our room, the mold was on the textile wallpaper and the space between glass and outer wall was full of visible cobwebs. The restaurant is very dated, and offered only on request at breakfast some bread and fried eggs. The Service is terrible. One does not understand English. The booked family rooms for 4 people turned out to be a triple room, it took over an hour and interventions by other guides to solve that. Positive is the courtyard, but there is a cat running around. The location is great, near the old town.

It is located at the fringe of Dayan town and thus is easy to access the ancient town. As it is outside the centre of the town, it is a quiet hotel. The room is just ok with an average hotel management.
