Lijiang Wangfu Hotel

Ideal location, very comfortable room, hotel very well situated. The breakfast deserves improvement.

Stayed here as part of a Wendy Wu tour of China. Set in the beautiful old town, the hotel was well located, in a quiet corner. Very modern facilities set in a stunning old wooden style, the atmosphere was relaxing with great courtyards to enjoy the experience. The breakfast had good choice for Western and Eastern preferences. It was clean, and perfectly maintained. Possibly my favourite hotel I've ever stayed in. Perfection.

Fantastic location and friendly staff. The room is very dated: old, lots of damage, mold on the ceiling, dirty carpeting. The room is also very noisy (televisions and conversations from the neighbors are very clearly present) and is moderately cleaned. Towels and used dishes are not replaced. In addition, there is the pungent smell of the sewer, which may not be very much can be done but which makes the stay in the room not fresh. This hotel could be a beautiful place, but still needs a lot of attention.
