Crowne Plaza Hangzhou Grand Canal

This was my 13th trip to China but my first to Hangzhou. My customer set up the hotel reservation for me at this hotel and it was very nice. The room was comfortable with a large bed, tub and separate shower area. I had a really nice view of the city, The lobby is large and very well kept. A quiet seating area if you need to speak privately with someone or just sit and read a book. The staff was very friendly and efficient. They did have someone who spoke English at the front desk as well as at the breakfast buffet. The breakfast was included in the room rate and it had a wide variety of food to choose from. Traditional Chinese foods as well as American style eggs, breads and cakes. I plan on staying there again on my next trip back.

Just a lovely hotel, close to everything. The rooms where large and very clean. We only ate breakfast but it was hot and lots of different items to try. The staff was great and always tried with a smile. Easily recommend to stay here.

We, a group of 24, stayed in this hotel for two nights. The room and the bathroom are spacious. There is a separate shower room. The decor of the room is pleasant. Our room faces the expressway but we hardly heard traffic noise. Buffet breakfast was OK, with quite a good selection of dishes, especially Chinese and local dishes. We had a comfortable stay in this hotel.
