The hotel occupies a few floors of a larger building and the reception is on the 8th floor, but there is no obvious information about this in English. So, it is slightly confusing when you enter the building.
It tries for a boutiqe-ish kind of feel and it nearly succeeds.
The room was really small, with a basin access directly from the room, and two cubicles: one for toilet, one for shower are accessed directly from the room too. Not a major issue though.
The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The bed really comfortable.
It overlooked the direction of the Wulin Square and the thing that was reall annoying was the a band of drummer ladies practising on a Sunday morning at 7 am on a stretch of a road directly underneath the windows. It will wake you up as I suppose they are there every Sunday (maybe except when it rains)
I had no breakfast in my package, but it is available in a small restaurant right next to the reception.
The location is very good with a subway station close by. Kerry Centre - a typical modern Chinese mall - with loads of restaurants is within 10 mins walk. The west lake about 15 mins away.
The front desk staff extremely helpful.
Good value for money for this kind of place. Would go back.

I found this hotel on Ctrip between the hotels that range from 300/400 per night. This is a nice small hotel located near Fengqi Rd. subway station. When you get out of this station through exit A, you need to head towards north, then cross the big street called Fengqi Road and walk a few meters till the corner with Baijingfang Alley. There is a Yungor shop in the corner with a red carpet in front of it. The entrance of the hotel is located at Baijingfang Alley. You need to go to the 8th floor, where the reception desk is. One young guy who works at night speaks decent English. An old lady and a young girl who work in the afternoon have zero English. There is a deposit of RMB300 when you check in, but from my experience, this is very low.
The hotel room is small and clean, enough for 1 person. The air conditioner works pretty well and it isn't loud. The TV has few movies in it and they are pretty old. The bed is very comfortable. The shower is the best thing in this hotel. It has a "rain forest" feeling (like they say in the description in the room haha). They also give you 2 bottles of mineral water per day. They provide all the hygiene stuff too. Three things that are missing for the hotel stay to be 100% are: a safe, a small fridge and breakfast. But overall, I really enjoyed my stay there.

Excellent location with an unbelievable low price, you can't find another one like this in Hangzhou! I stayed 6 nights there, and really loved this place. It is conveniently located in the central Hangzhou, where there is tons of places to eat within walking distance. The restaurant in Hotel offers nice food with a reasonable price as well so you don't even need to get out of the hotel to eat in a rainy day! There is a subway station in the walking distance, and also bus stations. During the days when I was still fighting with my jet lag, I walked to West Lake within 25 minutes in early morning. Within walking distance, you can also find a lot of places for shopping. There is also a Spa within the hotel where you can relax and enjoy. An excellent 3 star hotel! I will definitely stay there if I will go back to Hangzhou!!
