Holiday Inn Hangzhou City Center

Stayed here as part of a family holiday for 3 nights. Location of the hotel is very central with a metro station right downstairs. Further, it's only about 15 minutes to reach the east train station. Check in process of was efficient. Not sure of English abilities of staff though but other foreigners seemed to have little issue. Staff are generally very helpful and friendly. The rooms are of a decent size. Very typical HI hotel room was reasonable water pressure. The rooms are slightly dated but generally felt clean. The bed was huge though and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was of a high quality with a nice mix of western and Chinese food. The noodle station is definitely a nice touch. There's also an excellent 3rd party run gym and pool which is great for an early morning workout. Not busy when I went at 6am and had some very modern equipment. Very solid stay overall.

Stayed in this hotel for a weekend family trip to Hangzhou. This hotel delivers solid and consistent Holiday Inn experience at good value. Pros + Convenient location - right next to Subway station, five stops to train station and two stops to West Lake + Dining experience - good assortment of food for breakfast and lunch + Room - sufficient space for family travellers two adults with kid Cons - Interior decor shows its age I would recommend it to those looking for simple and value accommodation experience within the city of Hangzhou. And I will definitely consider it next time in Hangzhou.

Stayed on the way to Shenxing! 1st this was our 2nd choice. The 1st hotel didn't allow foreigners. This was .a good thing, we got to experience this great hotel. 1st I would say to upgrade to the suites only about 150/night. Very reasonable. Breakfast was the best breakfast we had while in china.
