Lakeside Hotel Hangzhou

Very modern hotel; friendly staff but breakfast buffet was rather basic with some really poor items. Bacon was diabolical and coffee was pretty grim. Also, bar area at night serves only beer and wine so a nightcap like a whisky or a liquor was not an option. Apart from that, hotel was comfortable if at times a bit noisy with the local guests but still a good location at the top end of the lake, from which to explore the West Lake environment. Overall, good value.
