Sunny Hotel

We came to this hotel during COVID the first time and didn't have a great experience but needless to say this time round was exceptional The location is great, 1 km straight walk to West lake and the shopping areas. Restaurants and scenery. The rooms are spacious, clean and well kept. TV, wifi, small fridge and bathrobes. The hotel is a bit old and typical Chinese design but comfortable and beautiful. I loved it and will stay here again. great value for money as well.

Beautiful hotel where we were upgraded to a family room. We stayed for 2 nights and spent Christmas here during our trip to Hangzhou. The hotel, it's room and the staffs were very good and helpful. The staffs were unable to communicate in decent English which made it difficult to get things done. But there were 6 Nepali interns who were there (hotel management) who made our life easier. The hotel had a Chinese restaurant at its 22nd floor but the choices were extremely limited. Only then we realised that there is a buffet dinner every night at the 3rd floor. We had our buffet dinner on 25th December (Christmas Day). Do note that the buffet dinner starts at 5 and ends at 7 (dinner comes early here). The TV choices are great for Hollywood film lovers and they had a wide range of movies. It was well spent Christmas here before we headed back to Shanghai.

The Hotel is located 10min walking distance to the West Lake on a very busy street. The staff is able to speak English language. The rooms are very large with air condition, minibar (only usable via Mobile phone app) .
