Wenzhou Victoria Grand Hotel

Brilliant hotel for the price. Comfortable bed and clean. They have HBO and BBC etc. on the TV. It’s easy to get a taxi to other places and the hotel is quite centrally located. Nice dim sum for very reasonable price on 2nd floor restaurant.

This hotel is well managed, clean and modern, had no complaint on room related. It is a bit pricey considering you are in china, mine was around usd200. Room insulation is very good, sleep quality is also nice. The heater in the room works really well and they got this automated aircon just on top of the window that will keep the window warm or cold (depend on the season) so it will increase your enjoyment sitting on the lazy chair just by the window. Bathroom is great, no complaint. Their bathroom amenities had AIGNER brand on it, who knows if it's real one or not. Breakfast is nice, lots of choices, good taste too. One problem here is that no one seems to speak in english, so that's a language barrier you need to overcome.

I had a one night stop here as part of a recent business trip and arrived late evening after a long day of travelling by train. Check in quick and efficient and the room up to a good standard- clean, well equipped and comfortable. My main problem arrived when I went to the lobby bar for something to eat, no-one understood much English and my laboured attempts in Mandarin fell on deaf ears.As it was 9.30pm the main restuarant was closing so my only option was to have room room service in the lobby bar . I chose from the menu and 5 minutes later the waiter came back to say there was only one thing I could have so i took that option. The food was fine but the service a little strange ! Don't let this put you off staying- overll it's a nice hotel
