Dann Carlton Medellin

The first thing one thinks of is location, but the truth is that the service and friendliness of all the staff is extraordinary. The restaurants are very good. The pool is sensational. Everything is very good for having a better time in Medellín

Location is good, a few blocks off the main tourist area. Safe to walk to/from, down a busy street. Room is worn, no black out curtains, construction noise nearby, no kleenex in room, a water bottle in room would be nice. Their towels were rough. Hot water was unstable - it would fluctuate between very hot to cold. Suite room was spacious and 2 bathrooms were nice. Breakfast, they would run out of several food items and not replenish it even though still plenty of time left for breakfast. Lobby had no currency exchange to small bills. Think this hotel is past its prime and would look to stay elsewhere. Not terrible but needs some improvement and better management. Room was clean. Will help with airport shuttle.

The staff is excellent, very comfortable rooms, restaurant and other areas of the Dann Carlton hotel.
