Before arrival, the hotel asked for photos of my credit card (including CVC, number, and expiry date), even though payment was already guaranteed via Booking.com. Huge privacy concern and I’ll be notifying my credit card company. Their system to upload passport photos didn’t work, and staff were unhelpful when I offered to show my passport at check-in. I was also given the wrong room number initially, the safe didn’t work and was fixed around 11 p.m., and there was no hot water on the first two days. They promised to repair the shower that same day but never did. They offered another room, but only if I completely moved — I asked to just use the shower there, which wasn’t allowed. So I had to choose between packing everything or staying with a cold shower. The area feels unsafe after 5 p.m., staff speak little English, rooms are noisy, and the balcony lock felt insecure. My advice: don’t stay here and never send photos of your credit card. Choose a safer area and always take a taxi at night.
