Plaza Rosa

I book a room at this hotel because a friend recommended it to me. When i arrived at the hotel front desk attention was good. But hotel is old nothing what you see on the pictures of the sites. When i got to my room the i couldn't with the lights because something happened to the electricity i walk to the front desk and request assistance they send me back up with the bell boy instead of call the maintenance guy. I waited like 10 minutes before the cold solve it. After that i could go inside my room what a smell, horrible. So i showered and left the hotel the second day i went to the front desk told them charge me penalty but i wanna leave but the could do that but i still left because the hotel SUCKS.

I love the feel of this place. The location is perfect and the staff very helpful. There are lots of very good restaurants walking distance and a fantastic dessert place just around the corner. Though some reviews say the furnishings are dated, I liked the retro feel of this hotel.

The room I was given had 2 separate bedrooms. When you enter, there is a living room area, with a futon and a mini frig 60'70's furniture. What I would consider a MB had no A/C, the furnishing not welcoming. The second room was no better, lacking a closet and yes a dreary A/C unit sticking out from the window as well as a desk that swayed at every move. There are large gaps between the A/C and the window clearly allowing the elements and sound from the traffic below to enter.
