Sonesta Hotel Barranquilla

A beautiful hotel with excellent services for guests. Breakfast is good. The room that touched me too. It connects directly with a gallery where there are pharmacies, a mini supermarket, hairdresser and other spaces. The pool on the terrace has an excellent view. I don't put 5 for two details. Coffee at breakfast is a bit complicated. We have to wait for the waitress to come and they did not have an adapter for the outlet. If those two details aren't relevant to you, it would be a 5.

GHL Hotel Barranquilla offers a warm welcome with a welcome drink on arrival, which immediately gives a nice first impression. There is ample parking space available, which is very practical for guests with their own car. My room was spacious and had a large bathroom, which made the stay feel comfortable. The pool was somewhat disappointing: it was moderately maintained and little attention was paid to it. There is not much to be found within walking distance of the hotel, so keep that in mind if you like to explore the area on foot. Breakfast was good and varied, only I missed some extra sweets, such as chocolate spread etc . All in all a pleasant stay thanks to the good facilities, but in some respects there is still room for improvement.

It doesn't look like a 5-star hotel, regular service, very wet room, furniture falling out, window handle broken on the floor of the room. One day they forgot to put a bath towel on, I ordered it from reception and they never brought it. For me that I've been to many hotels, at most it's a 3-star hotel.
