Baviera Hotel

This is actually a condominium complex that rents out the vacant apartments as hotel rooms. Check in takes forever, lots of filling in of basic information that they should already have (name, address, phone number, etc) which is frustrating when holding bags and wanting to go to the room and rest. The Pros: Functional kitchen. Very roomy, like having your own apartment, ours even had a balcony. The "calentado" for breakfast in the restaurant was delicious. Reliable hot water. Hair dryer that gets extremely hot (may also be a con if you consider health & safety standards). The Cons: No cutlery, plates, or pans in the functional kitchen. Long black hair on hand towel upon arrival. Old, dusty toiletries and condoms on offer in the bathroom's "minibar of toiletries"...why bother. Apartments have a rather dated feel, could use updating, and lots of scratches/scuff marks on the linoleum floor. No heating, cold at night, but that's where the hair dryer comes in handy... Although I can think of several unappealing things about the hotel/apartment, overall they were minor details and the stay was decent, but I'm not sure if I would stay there again.
