I was attracted by the location and low rate. Be aware an extra person carries a hefty upcharge and hotel guests are not allowed to invite additional non-registered guests without incurring the additional fees.
The rooms are small, and very basic. Although cable is provided, the 19" flatscreen is CRT. The minifridges can be hooked up upon request. The shower water eventually gets hot but it takes a bit of patience. Check all items you can think of before accepting a room.
The front desk obliged my request for a different one when I found that the exterior window does not latch. The best things going for this hotel are the courteous staff and its location.
Bear in mind the included breakfast requires a voucher from Siar front desk to be presented offsite at another hotel across the street.

I stayed here upon first arriving in South America and had difficulty with check in and check out as none of the front desk employees spoke English. Upon realizing the difficulty in communication the front desk girl stopped talking to me altogether and neglected to provide any information about the hotel, breakfast or internet. I am not sure if the hotel actually does provide breakfast as stated on the website I booked from.
During one day of my stay, a lovely woman sat at a desk by the front door and was able to provide some basic directions in English and friendly smile.
My room was clean besides the toilet which was covered in hair of the short and dark variety. The shower was always hot and the toilet always flushed, which at the time was standard to me, but I now realize this is not always the case in SA.
In the evenings there was a lot of noise outside which easily transferred into the room.
I would recommend this hotel to Spanish speaking, budget conscious travellers who would like a private room instead of a dorm for a few nights.
