Ms La Herreria Popayan

Stayed here during Djoser's group trip. Good location. Simple rooms. Had some problems during our group's stay: clogged toilet, ant nest in a room and they clearly had not done enough shopping at breakfast on the 2nd day. There was no fresh bread, no butter. An extra glass of fruit juice was also too much to ask. Little flexibility from the staff, an excuse for everything.

Herreria Colonial was an excellent choice for visiting Popayan. The hotel itself was a beautiful colonial style building, it was centrally located, inside was cozy and nicely decorated, and the staff was super welcoming and helpful. If you’d prefer something authentically Colombian rather than a western style hotel this is a good spot.

Cute hotel in the downtown of Popayan. Clean and comfortable and the staff very kind. There are 2 problems here... There isn’t hot water in the shower and the staff do not speak any other language over Spanish, but that is like the most of Colombia
