Lomas del Volcan

Great location. The hotel is very beautiful and clean. They have a hiking trail there. It's actually a really good hike. The pool is very warm. We had a room with a bathe tub outside. It was very romantic and i recommend that room. Nothing better then relaxing and watching the wild life. Definitely a really good hotel to stay at.

The hotel is in a spectacular setting, right at the foot of the volcano. The bungalows are very spacious and the bathrooms are huge, with all the amenities. I have stayed in few hotels with rooms of this size. It has several pools, one of which is heated, and all the facilities are impeccably clean. The restaurant has a wood-fired oven where they prepare very good pizzas, and the buffet-style breakfast is also excellent, with a lot of variety and quality products. I cannot give a higher rating because none exists. Without a doubt, I would return again and again. 100% recommendable!

Hotel Lomas del Volcan was the perfect location in La Fortuna! It as pristine grounds and the hotel is beautiful! We saw monkeys frequently and a tucan family as a bonus. The included breakfast was amazing with such a great selection of food. I could not think of anywhere else I would want to stay in La Fortuna.
