Hotel Villas Nacazcol & Club de Playa

In English - DO NOT STAY HERE!! This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in after a long day driving. We stayed in a villa and found three different bugs on the towels and beds. I asked the front desk to switch rooms and/or give me a discount for the inconvenience. They offered to switch our room only after I showed them proof of the insects. I had to wait the next day to speak to a manager for any other offers. The next morning I was introduced to Jesus, the manager and showed him the pictures and video. He apologized for the inconvenience but did not budge on offering any other accommodation stating it was not his “department”. He apologized for the inconvenience, but did not agree to offer any other compensation, saying it was not his “department.” Their area was cleaning and, supposedly, they spray every week.

Needed a one night stay in a pinch - flight was cancelled from Liberia. This place had a 2 BR villa for our family. It was... fine. The beds were clean and decently comfortable, which was all we needed. We did see one cockroach in the morning. We didn't check out any of the amenities, so can't speak to those. I wouldn't have wanted to stay here for an extended period, given what else is in the area. But it worked in a pinch.

We stayed here for one night as a last minute booking because our flight out of Liberia was cancelled and we needed a place for a family of five to stay. I regretted it the minute we arrived. The staff were not welcoming to us. The villa was not clean (our socks were dirty after walking on the floors and there were cockroaches in the kitchen). The bathrooms were in need of major updates. Car alarms went off four separate times that night waking us all up. We left as soon as we could the next morning. I'm confused by some of the decent reviews -- just am not seeing it in the actual amenities or the staff.
