Reserva Conchal

Our family of four (with two teens, ages 19 and 14) had an incredible vacation at the Westin Reserva Conchal. Every one of us had an amazing time, and it's one of those rare trips where everyone came home happy! The pool area was a huge highlight. There were so many fun activities throughout the day, including water polo, volleyball, ping pong, and other games that kept everyone entertained. We also loved starting our mornings with yoga and really enjoyed the coffee tasting and ceviche-making classes. The beach was absolutely beautiful, and we loved that the resort provided complimentary paddleboards and snorkeling equipment. It made it so easy to get out and enjoy the ocean. One of the biggest highlights of our trip was meeting Eric Garcia (in the blue shirt), who helped us arrange several unforgettable excursions. He set us up with a magical sunset horseback ride on the beach and an all-day adventure to La Leona Waterfall followed by zip lining. It was truly the highlight of our entire vacation! We also had a great dining experience throughout the resort. Our favorite restaurant was La Sabana for its authentic Costa Rican cuisine, but we also found ourselves stopping by the pizza window more than once for an afternoon snack. The resort itself is exceptionally well run. The mobile app made everything easy to navigate, and the golf carts were always available to take guests around, though the resort is very walkable and everything felt conveniently close. There were so many thoughtful touches that made our stay special—from World Cup viewing parties to the spectacular fire show at Mitra Market. Every member of the staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming, and it was clear how much effort goes into creating an outstanding guest experience. We loved every minute of our stay and are already talking about when we can come back. Thank you for an unforgettable family vacation!

Beautiful location. Beautiful beach. It’s too bad the hotel is falling apart. Our first room’s AC wasn’t working properly. It kept the room cool but it was so humid that the sheets were damp and the kids refused to go under the sheets because it felt moist. The phone also wasn’t working so I couldn’t call for help. The second room they moved us to was moldy smelling but at this point I just didn’t want to switch rooms again. The door latches are falling off and the TV wasn’t working.

Incredible experience that had an amazing beach, pool, and accommodations. Staff was friendly and the grounds were immaculate. The wildlife and beach views were the highlights with plenty to do every day. We booked all of our activities through Erik G with the Google shirt and would highly recommend him to others. He was very honest and set our family up with a horse back riding experience on the beach that we will never forget along with a jet ski ride as well. While Mitra Market had a wide variety of food, the local cuisine was more inline with the quality you would expect from a Westin Resort. Overall, great family friendly experience and already looking forward to returning in the near future.
