Sol Papagayo Resort

This is one of the best most caring hotels we have been to. The staff are so helpful, cheerful and friendly from the gardeners to management. The room we had with sea view was excellent, sheets and towels changed every three days. The restaurant was bright and cheerful, divided into small areas. The food was excellent. A Great range or choice at every meal time. The special Restaurant available twice a week, but must be booked ahead, was great. We went on the Oriental night. Lots of choice Indian Thai Chinese and Japanese. Loved the sushi. The gentle walk into Playa Blanca was great, leading to shops and cafes .we went to the Volcano Park and a must is the Lava caves further north. Amazing. The ten days went far too quickly, but we will definitely be returning. Paulin Clay

May be better-very dry garden,pools without water...bad seeside-vulcanic send,difficulty for swimming. Poor kitchen,undrinking coffee.No culture events,no nearby cities...The best-nature outside hotel...
