Pachira Lodge

Going to Tortuguero Pachira Lodge was an amazing experience. The staff was really nice and friendly. The same goes for our guide Julio Rivera. He was really nice and he could tell us a lot about all the flora and fauna in Tortuguero. He also guided us on boat tours, where he was great at spotting wildlife. He even spotted a rare red porcupine in a tree at the beautiful Caño Palma. He and captain Herman were very friendly and a great team. Pachira Lodge is the perfect spot to really enjoy nature. With tucans, howler monkeys and spider monkeys above the pool. And armadillo's and butterflies in the bushes. We would really recommend it! Pura vida :).

We have stayed for two nights and it has been wonderful. The setting is absolutely spectacular. The cabins are very clean and the help, kindness, and professionalism of the guides are wonderful. I would like to thank Juan Diego, Erick, Jorge Mario, Henry, the drivers, and the buffet waiters for their help, as they have made the stay wonderful.

A unique experience, from the moment we got on the boat to go to the hotel, the stay, the excursions, and the return. Unique environment. Impeccable rooms. Helpful and attentive staff. The guides, all of them great, fun, but above all good professionals. Erick, Juan Diego, Henrry, Jorge Mario, and all the others. I hope to repeat.
