Cariblue Beach Jungle Resort

After a small problem with the booking, this was eventually resolved by a manager. Both receptionists we found very inflexible and incapable of empathizing with the clients. That was actually the only bad experience we had. The rooms are in a beautifully landscaped jungle garden with lots of animals, the beds are good, the cleaning great. The pool is lovely and when you cross the road you are on the beach next to a surf school, The center of puerto Vieje, the jaguar rescue center and playa uva are within cycling distance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Toucans, various brightly colored frogs, aguiti many howler monkeys, Breakfast is more than extensive and fresh, fantastic. FYI: The economy rooms have no windows and no views. I wouldn't book this one.

We had a lovely stay at Cariblue Beach and Jungle Resort and truly enjoyed the relaxing Caribbean atmosphere. The hotel offers a beautiful combination of nature and comfort, surrounded by lush gardens and just a short walk from the beach. Although the staff was not especially friendly or welcoming, our overall stay was excellent. The rooms were comfortable, and the pool area was perfect for relaxing after exploring the area. We also enjoyed trying the delicious traditional rice and beans in town, spending relaxing afternoons by the Caribbean coast, and visiting the beautiful Manzanillo Park. Overall, it was a memorable experience in Puerto Viejo.

Terrible customer service. They do not answer phone calls, and they respond very poorly on WhatsApp. They do not really understand what customer service is. I do not recommend this hotel even for a quote, as they do not care about customer attention.
