We had a great time at the hotel. We have been visiting this hotel for the past 20 years. We have gone about 10 times. We keep coming back because we love the surroundings, the beach and river are close, and we can easily walk into town to get an ice cream or other treat or even walk to the beach. The restaurant is nice and we always love playing pool or tennis (now pickleball). The rooms are beautiful, with a hammock and mini fridge and great air conditioner. The showers are nice and hot, even though heated by solar energy. We had a problem with the shower this time. It wasn't hot at all. We met with the manager, named Neilson, the same morning and he set up a deal for us. We explained that it was our 30 year anniversary. He helped us change to a new room and asked the restaurant to give us a free dinner. We were allowed to order anything from the menu for ourselves and our son. It was very memorable.
