Balcon del Mar

I had a really bad experience. I was changed 3 times. We had one of the suites with balcony view. The first room we arrived in the automatic door was not opening so we were locked out of our room for a while. They decided to move us to the room across but the AC was not working on this second unit. They then proceeded to move me to a 3rd room in the upper level however our fridge was not working the entire stay & at that point we were so exhausted from moving rooms & the traveling we decided to stay on the 3rd room. The location was the only convenient part of the hotel & the ocean view. I asked for a late checkout & even after everything we had already gone thru they charged me $50 for the late checkout. Overall not a good experience & no one tried to make it better for us

My husband and I went to the restaurant Cocos Bech for breakfast and since I am allergic to milk I asked them that if the egg breakfast had milk, the girl who charged assured me that no and still telling her that if she was sure since if she could not send me to the hospital she assured me that they definitely did not have, however the one who served went and asked the cook and he mentioned that yes of course they had milk so they had to make me some special eggs. Another thing that happened to me is that they had turkey ham at breakfast however this was slimy and smelly so it was clearly bad and they still uploaded it to hotel guests throughout breakfast. And the last thing is that the pinto was watery and flavorless. This restaurant is definitely not recommended, they do not take care of personal allergies, nor handle food well, let alone care about the taste of food.

Unfortunately it did not meet my minimum expectations, the place is nice has potential but is neglected. Our room presented faults with the air conditioning and although we reported it and stayed to go check it, never arrived the room was flooded and I did not find a satisfactory response from the hotel.. unfortunately although the location is nice I would not return or recommend it.
